Malena Zavala (with special guest Benjamin Walker) & arborist The Long Table

  • Brimscombe mill Brimscombe Hill Stroud, England, GL5 2SB United Kingdom (map)

Malena Zavala: Malena is an Argentinian born artist, producer and multimedia artist. At the age of three, Zavala moved to the UK and maintained her connection to the Latin world through music. Mixing both cultures, her dreamy & hypnotic songs are imbued with a rich sense of her own heritage, when she sings, time seems to stand still. Her haunting voice is hypnotic, her sensual songs like spells laced with the electric guitar that sweep you out of the everyday and off to some far place. Her albums 'Aliso' (2018) and ‘La Yarará’ (2020) saw her touring around Europe and the UK, and most recently the 'Pasos De La Luna EP' has brought her songs to Latin America, playing shows in Chile and Mexico. This summer she returns to spread her songs in a series of intimate shows across the European continent.

Arborist: Taking their material from traditional folk music, Stroud based Arborist furnish texts with noise-led ambient electronics and tape loops. Their employment of shifting harmonies and expansive drones leaves a haunting impression.

This will be an intimate gig in our Sanctuary space so numbers are limited. Please secure a ticket to ensure a place at this special event.
